Getting excited for the Colorado Irish Festival this weekend. Come see Lougheed play Sunday at 11:30 on the Cultural Pub Stage. If you miss this weekend, join us next weekend on Sunday at the Elizabeth Celtic Festival. Look forward to seeing you.
The new flute is payed for and should be ready to ship end of the month. Should have it in time for the Irish Festival !!! Now to learn some new tunes to go with it 🙂
Everybody who knows me, sees how hard lyrics are for me. I have all-ways had a hard time with words. Not that I don’t have something to say. So with the Colorado Irish Fest on the horizon and trying to add new songs to the set list, I am working my tushy off. Pam can run through a new song a few times and have it down. With that said we are really excited to be back at the Fest this year and hope to see all our old friends and make new ones as well. Come out to Clancy’s Irish pub on Tuesday night from 7-10pm and join us for a great Irish session. Cheers, Mark.
Thanks to Rodger Hara for the great article on Lougheed in the June Celtic Connection. Check it out on page 10.

Two years have passed since I’ve had the pleasure of performing at the Festival. It is with great pride and excitement that Pam and I have come together to form Lougheed. We are gearing up to have the best performance and hope everybody will stop by. The Fest has always been a time to see old friends and make new ones. This, I truly hope will be the case. Cheers, Mark
I just have to share how excited I am. I’ve ordered a new flute from flute maker Casey Burns. I had the pleasure of playing one of his instruments recently and had to have one. Not sure it will arrive in time for the Irish Festival, but keep your fingers crossed.
Look for Lougheed playing at the Colorado Irish Festival in July. Details are available on the Gigs calendar. The Irish festival is always a great weekend and features some of Denver’s local Celtic musicians. We look forward to meeting you.
Local Denver musicians Mark and Pamela Hill join together to form a new exciting Celtic music duo. Look for Lougheed playing at a venue near you soon.
