Last year was a long year for us. While we were able to play a few fantastic festivals, much else in our musical life was put on hold do to other commitments. We hope to remedy that this year and we are currently working on a CD and booking gigs. Hope to see you out and about this year. – Pamela & Mark
Well 2011 came and went like a gust of wind. I can’t say it was my favorite year, in fact a very hard one. Thank you everyone for your support this last year. So what does 2012 hold in store for Lougheed. Well all I can say is lots of new music and maybe a new wrinkle or two. A cd is in the works and hoping a mid summer release party. So happy new year everybody and hope to play a ton of music with everyone.

Had a great time at the Spanish Peaks Festival this past weekend. Great workshops and many new techniques to start working on. Looking forward to kicking my playing to the next level. Great crowd for the impromptu gig in the park. Thanks for all the support from great friends.
As we head into fall, my favorite time. I am ready to expand on some new music and try to record a cd. Our summer was crazy went by at a supersonic pace. Pam and I will be gigging this fall. With venues to be named shortly. I received my Warren Ellis electric tenor on Tuesday and this thing is a hotrod. Sounds amazing and ready to rock it up. Hope to see everybody soon! Cheers, Mark
